Fun with Paper - Creative Invitations
My obsession with paper started when I was a child and my creations have taken many different forms over the years. But, my true passion has always been creative, unique invitations and greeting cards. On this blog you'll find postings of my completed and inprogress paper projects as well as sources of inspiration. If you have any questions about my invitations or would like to share some of your own creations, please e-mail me at srshultz@hotmail.com.

Birthday Party
This invitation was designed for a birthday party held at Conroe's Incredible Pizza. A photo of the birthday child was inserted into the racecar and other activity photos were used to show the fun activities available. A custom made "Admit One" ticket was attached through a grommet and this space was used to write the invitation recipient's name.

Wedding Invitation
My wedding was the perfect opportunity to design and create my own invitations and announcements. Fortunately, it was a small wedding. I only had to create about 15 invitations. For the announcements I opted for professional printing but added the photo, wrap and embellishments after they were printed.
Invitation:
Floral paper front/back
Sage card base with script overlay
Wording printed on vellum and attached to card base with grommets
Copper wire and Swarovski crystal beads threaded between top and bottom grommets
Photo magnet attached with clear photo corners
